Estère, an artist and producer of both New Zealand and Cameroonian heritage, is known for her unique mix of electronic, vintage and R&B music which she dubs ‘electric blue witch-hop’. A self-taught beat-maker, producer, DJ and multi-instrumentalist, Estère paints her production with a richly toned voice, and unabashedly explores the world around her through her song-writing. Themes of identity, human connection and the animal world resonate loudly throughout Estère’s previous work, which has won the praise of international media outlets such as Elle Magazine, Afropunk and the Guardian. A dynamic live performer, Estère has toured throughout Europe, Africa and Asia and has opened for the likes of Grace Jones, Erykah Badu and Hiatus Kaiyote. Her festival appearances include Glastonbury, Afropunk and WOMAD. Now based in London, Estère is writing her upcoming album Diaspora Baby set to be released in 2025.
